Fort Worth, TX — Last week, franchise owners and employees from around the world convened in Kansas City, MO for the 2016 Steamatic International Convention. The theme of the convention’s was “POWER UP!” and the event was info-packed and high energy, according to a press release.

The convention speakers included industry leaders from Xactware, Contractor Connection, Alacrity and Yodle and others. The three day agenda was also filled with informative breakout sessions, franchise lead panels and focused training courses. The event also included a full day international meeting attended by owners from seven countries.

Steamatic’s President, Steve Willis opened Saturday morning’s general session by providing the future vision for the Steamatic system. “Growth, increased technology, additional national account opportunities and strategic relationships are all part of the Steamatic future,” Willis said.

The convention concluded with an awards banquet where several franchise owners were recognized for their performance and time with the franchise system. The top recognition of the night, the Steamatic Choice Award, was presented to Marcus Benoit, owner of Steamatic of the Red River Valley in Fargo North Dakota.

Preparations have already begun for the next convention that will be held in the summer of 2018 in Fort Worth, TX. The 2018 convention will mark their 50th anniversary and will be the largest celebration in Steamatic’s history.
