GBAC Champion Volunteer Applications Open

ROSEMONT, Ill.鈥擜pril 15, 2022鈥擳he Global Biorisk Advisory Council™ (GBAC), a Division of 天美传媒, is soliciting applications for GBAC Champions, volunteer industry and subject matter experts who will serve on one of nine topical GBAC Working Groups in 2022. Industry leaders, advocates, subject matter experts, and other volunteers in the fields of microbial-pathogenic threat analysis, biohazard mitigation, and innovation design are invited to apply to become a GBAC Champion.

鈥淕BAC was founded to help organizations and businesses prepare for, respond to, recover from biohazard situations and real-time crises, and to develop resilience,鈥 said GBAC Executive Director Patricia Olinger. 鈥淲e want to bring together more leaders in this space to share ideas and spur innovation that will generate practical solutions for today鈥檚 biological challenges.鈥

The GBAC Working Groups will focus on the following topics: devices; indoor air considerations; equipment, tools, and delivery systems; defining clean; infection prevention strategies; AI and data analytics; hand hygiene; GBAC-Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG); and GBAC Academy. Members of the GBAC Working Groups serve one-year terms as non-compensated volunteers.

鈥淕BAC is bringing together the world鈥檚 leading minds to turn ideas into actionable solutions to address pathogenic threats,鈥 said GBAC Senior Director and The Infection Prevention Strategy (TIPS) Co-Founder Michael Diamond. 鈥淭hese working groups will further our mission to drive scientific and technological innovations that will solve real problems.鈥
