TOLEDO, OH — Impact Products has completed acquisition of the assets and intellectual property of Malt Industries, according to a press release.

The acquisition is a strategic expansion effort by Impact, which is a manufacturer and supplier of branded and private label non-chemical cleaning, maintenance, safety and related products, including floor care products for the commercial cleaning sector.

“We look forward to bringing the full line of Malt Products to our customer base,” Impact President and CEO Terry Neal said in the release. “This acquisition will further enhance Impact’s continued growth and commitment to the Gloves & Safety Category.”

Malt Industries Inc. of Purvis, MS, is a wholesale distributor of a full range of personal protective clothing.

The agreement officially went into effect October 1 at which time Impact unveiled the new Malt logo which incorporates Impact branding.
