Pre-convention workshops from RIA

ROCKVILLE, MD — On Tuesday, April 23, 2013, the (RIA) will provide three courses prior to the at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on April 23-25, 2013, according to a press release.
These pre-convention workshops are optional and there is an additional course fee for these courses, the release stated.
According to the release, the convention will include presentations from many key leaders in the industry, including:
- Lori Young, CR, . will offer a course entitled: Estimating for Contents Restoration. The workshop will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will focus on four learning objectives that will help attendees better understand how to properly estimate for contents.
- Michael Pinto, CSP, CMP, of . will teach RIA’s Mold Refresher Course from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This workshop is designed for those who wish to maintain and update their knowledge in the mold and environmental fields. It is geared for those who require continuing education credits and is not an entry-level course.
- Brad Williams, from will provide a hands-on workshop from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Xactimate 27.5’s features to provide attendees with a better understanding of its capabilities through a demonstrations and a discussion of Xactimate concepts.
