Steamatic Inc. adds new franchise

FORT WORTH, TX 鈥 has sold a new franchise location in Warren, MI, which will service Northern Detroit, according to a press release.

鈥淚鈥檓 tired of working for other people,鈥 Steamatic of Warren owner Kit Burgess explained in the release. 鈥淚鈥檓 looking forward to getting out and succeeding on my own.鈥

An industry newcomer, Burgess decided to join the industry after several years as an IT Systems Administrator left him looking to make a career change.

鈥淏urgess looked at multiple restoration companies when setting out on this new path, but ultimately selected Steamatic as the best opportunity and the one that most closely matched his needs,鈥 the company said in the release. 鈥淸He] selected Steamatic as a path that will make the most of his relationship building skills and marketing abilities.鈥

After a two-week training course at Steamatic University at the Fort Worth corporate offices, Burgess has returned to formally open the Steamatic of Warren franchise location.

鈥淲e are very excited about adding another location in Michigan, especially in the Detroit area,鈥 Steve Willis, Steamatic president, said in the release. 鈥淚n addition, Kit鈥檚 IT background perfectly aligns with Steamatic鈥檚 initiative to continually improve our technology solutions for our clients, our partners and our franchises.鈥
